Figurative Art Photo Shoots
Seeking Participants

October 2025 — March 2026
A style of photo shoot that only a creative independent photo artist can provide. One you could not experience at any commercial photo studio.
I have photographed the human figure thousands of times over. My career as a photographic artist spans over twenty five years during which I have worked in advertising and commercial photographic studios. All the while I have collaborated privately as a freelance artist with people who follow my work, inviting many of them to participate in my figurative art photo shoots.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Stage 1: Fill out the contact form below. I will respond by email requesting a link to see a full length photo of you (i.e., your socials). By this stage I will have made a tentative decision regarding my choice of participants.
Stage 2: If you are advanced to stage two, we will meet via online chat (eg, Google Meet) where I will personally invite you to participate in a fine art photography shoot. Planning will now begin and we will discuss ideas, a theme, props, body covering, and any preparatory details as needed. Preparation time will be several weeks.
Stage 3: At some time during these prep weeks you will need to pre-purchase one mounted A4 fine art print at a cost of $100. This invoice must be paid in advance to confirm a photo shoot date.
Why the pre-purchase? Even though this is a photo collaboration, there are no freebies. I am a commercial artist. I also need to consider preparation time and cost. Participation in my photo shoots is open to anyone with a strong desire to do so. Funding for my work comes through the sale of images, prints or wall art. A requirement of entry is that every participant must pre-purchase one fine art print at a cost of $100. This is non refundable. Alternatively the participant may decide to put this payment toward a larger purchase if desired.
Age restriction: My figurative art is stylistically and very intentionally semi-nude. This means that typically the participants body is partially covered. As a participant you will be asked to sign a consent form giving permission to be photographed as either a semi-nude or fully nude model. During the shoot you will be treated with the utmost respect and your comfort is my primary consideration. Portraits will be artistic and tasteful. The intention is art, not erotica. The images on this page and throughout this website indicate what to expect. You must be over 18 years of age to participate.
